METHODIST FELLOWS – HEMATOLOGY/ONCOLOGY PROGRAM
Since 2016, HOPE Clinic has partnered with the Houston Methodist Hospital as a clinic site for their pulmonary fellowship. HOPE Clinic provides a once-a-month pulmonology clinic, allowing patients to see specialists in-house and in their community.
Our community oriented partnership has helped bridge access to better care for low income, uninsured populations who have faced barriers in transportation, language, and health literacy. At HOPE Clinic, the fellows have the opportunity to provide culturally and linguistically appropriate services in out-patient care. Our collaboration has reached over 100 patients and HOPE Clinic is incredibly proud of our efforts in facilitating a well rounded, community based rotation for future health care specialists.
